Welcome to my blog about LDS Temple Tourism! I have lived in Utah all my life where I am surrounded by temples of the LDS church. I attend the temple regularly but I always go to the same temple. My wife and I recently had an opportunity to go to Europe. While there we decided to go to the Bern Switzerland temple. It was such an incredible experience that I decided I need to experience many more of the temples around me that I've been neglecting. I decided I should become a "temple tourist." I wanted to visit temples old and new, taking pictures and seeing the temple as an outsider would. I thought it would be fun to create a blog where I can record pictures of all the temples I have visited as well as any thoughts I have about each temple.
This blog is intended primarily as a journal or record for myself, but I hope that anyone who stumbles upon it can enjoy the temples that I have visited. I hope you can develop the same love for temples that I have discovered in myself. There's something magical about the Lord's house. Come enjoy it with me.
